About Me

I have been practicing yoga since college, but it wasn’t until I moved to New York and was confronted by the daily stress of life in the city that I turned to yoga for a sense of calm, balance, and connection. I am a 500-hour certified yoga teacher through YogaWorks in New York City.  I am also certified in Restorative Yoga and Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga.   My teaching style consists of intelligent sequencing with an emphasis on alignment and stability paired with fluid transitions and breath-work, so that students can practice with confidence, clarity, and grace. I invite my students to challenge themselves without loosing sight of the simplicity and joy that can be found within the practice.  I bring a sense of presence, compassion, and authenticity to my teaching and aim to provide a safe and nourishing experience for my students.

  2. I can’t believe I didn’t know you had this site. Love it and Love You!
The yoga retreat in June was amazing, hopefully I can join you for another retreat in 2013.

  3. I reluctantly took your class today when you subbed for Jodi’s level 2/3. I usually ONLY take Jodi, but I was really impressed by your class. Great flow, challenging and the time flew. Look forward to taking your class again!

    • Deb,
Thank you for sharing your comment and for coming to class today! I would love to see you in one of my classes again. Also, I often take Jodie’s level 2/3 class as well, so maybe i will see you again soon!
      Warmth,
      Jess
